Your day will begin at 8:00am, for you and up to 4 other surfers, at the Robert August factory in Huntington Beach, CA. After meeting Robert and touring the factory you’ll spend the next 2 hours watching Robert shape a board. You’ll see a raw foam blank transformed into the shape of a world class surfboard.

Then it’s your turn. Each person has his own private shaping bay to work in. You will be supplied with all the tools and equipment needed, as well as the type of blank best suited for the board you’ve already decided to shape. Here you can also see pictures of the factory you'll be working in. Robert and an assistant will personally get you started and will spend the next 6 hours helping you create the surfboard of your dreams.
